Today’s Adventure: The biscuit tin is empty so this morning I had a mini bake off.
JAM FACT: I love making my “HEALTHY” CHOCOLATE CRACKLES recipe. I get to lick the spoon at the end and also get to eat all the bits that fall out of the patty tins. And I must say I find the little patty tins very challenging especially when I am trying to put the mixture in with too big a spoon and today my spooning in technique was sadly lacking!
The mini bake off also included the Heart Foundation Rock Cakes – a staple these days.
I call the crackles healthy because the recipe is out of the Diabetes book. It only takes 4 ingredients and they are so easy to make. They are made of dark chocolate too – which I am allowed but not a lot of it which this UNYOUNG brain sometimes has trouble remembering.
Friday night is always chocolate night so 2 little chocolate crackles are on the menu for tonight!
Until Tomorrow –take care and enjoy this beautiful Spring weather if you live in WA. [Although I could do without the 2 degrees we had overnight]
