TOO HARD? NO JUST A CHALLENGE WAITING TO BE CONQUERED.

I CAN SEE SOME TASTY ZUCCHINNI SLICE COMING UP.

TODAY’S ADVENTURE: Cleaning up after the 152 mls of rain we had in 48 hours from a storm – for our part of the world that’s a lot for this time of the year.

JAM FACT: I love my new camera.

I have, since the new camera arrived into my hands, the firm desire to capture something special with it. What exactly?  Well, I want to capture an image that will be so impressive that it will earn itself a spot on the ABC’s photo of the week app.

A tall order I know but this little UNYOUNG JAM is not deterred by all the amazing photos that appear regularly on that platform although I must confess to being a tad intimidated but even so I am soldiering on and have made it my goal for the month. A bit ambitious but why not I ask myself? Plus that will mean that I will need to be out and about visiting all sorts of locations in order to find an image that is just right.[Phew!  I am not silly after all.]

So even though the odds of me being in the same calibre as the many photographers who regularly have their photos on the ABC Photo app I am fuelling the notion that if I put my mind to it, I will succeed.  I have even boldly marked the calendar…so in thirty days hence I will see if I have succeeded.

I shall also keep in mind something the famous French photographer Henry Cartier- Bresson said “the first 10,000 photos you take are your worst.” Hmmm; on second thoughts maybe the challenge of taking a ‘winning’ shot within a month is way, way too short a time span…  methinks I have a few thousand photos to go if I am to believe Monsieur Cartier- Bresson!

Until next time … we sometimes forget that waking up each day is the first thing we should be grateful for…so go out and spoil yourself with something that makes you happy.

Now I know who is leaving his droppings on the front lawn!
