Today’s Adventure: I add another thing to my basic set of technical skills repertoire.
Jam Fact: I am becoming tech savvy.
Today I had a new experience on my laptop. I chatted to my Dr via SKPE. He insisted I learn to use the app as he wanted to see me whilst he spoke with me. I did say better not to see but no he would not have it any other way.
So after a little drama…honestly I have enough passwords already…the app was installed on my laptop and I was able to look efficient and answer the Doc’s call at the appropriate time. We were able to have a ‘lovely’ long medical chat and I had to confess that being able to see him as we chatted did make a difference.
I even made sure my ‘background wall’ for the Doc to see me with was ok too – a great black and white sketch of Gray’s Store in Greenough WA [MY J’s family’s old shearing shed] hangs on that wall.
I am now feeling very happy with myself as I have successfully managed to add another skill to my growing [albeit small in the scheme of things] technical repertoire.
Not sure who else is going to be on my hit list for a SKPYE chat now that I have mastered it and yet another password but who knows?
Maybe my Lotto ticket will come in and they will SKYPE me to tell me of my lucky ticket win. Just in case my luck is in, I have set the new app to standby. My tech savvy skills know no bounds!
