I do like a good magnolia bloom.
TODAY’S ADVENTURE: Picking up my quilt.
JAM FACT: I am one, very happy, UNYOUNG JAM.
Even if I say so myself, I reckon my finished quilt looks pretty amazing.
The ‘quilting’ process and the pattern I chose for the machine arm to whizz around and around on each part was worth every little bit as all of the squares have come up a treat.
Deb at Artistic Quilting Services right here in the Avon Valley, did a great job on it and although it turned out in the end to be not quite a queen size after all, it still fits okay and best of all, looks pretty A Okay on our bed.
The best square by far, is definitely the long and “bloody” short stitch one. The stitch actually looks like it is supposed to.
I can be a bit of a harsh critic when it comes to my sewing work but on this occasion, it is most definitely fair to say that this little UNYOUNG JAM is feeling very, very pleased with her efforts.
Until next time…no matter where you go, appreciate that life itself, is a gift.
