Pic No.1. An end to another hot day here at home.
TODAY’S ADVENTURE: What to do when we are experiencing a heatwave right here in my part of the world.
JAM FACT: I like a good sunset.
The days here at home continue to be around 40 degrees. I don’t venture much outside during the day [except to cool off in the pool] and only tend to re-emerge when the temperature drops substantially, which is usually around night fall/dusk.
Three nights ago I happened to be sitting outside on the front verandah enjoying a hint of a breeze, just as the sun was setting.
I was so impressed with what I saw in the western sky that I nipped back inside for my trusty little SONY RX100 camera and snapped the scene before me. [See above]
Since then I have purposely gone outside at approx sunset time to see what the sky has to offer and so far I have not been disappointed.
Those recent sightings have encouraged me to think about recording each sunset show from here on in. So I plan, well at least until this hot weather abates, to snap a pic each night and then select which Hot February night show pic, turns into being the most impressive. [Who needs Neil Diamond’s “Hot August Night” when you can have a HOT February Night show with UNYOUNG JAM!]
So, some bit of sky looking excitement is going to be the highlight of my day’s end for the next few weeks.
I can’t wait to see what sort of a sky pic I manage to snap and then if it turns into being my best February sunset HOT shot.
Until then…stay cool and safe.
