DECEMBER HAPPENINGS
UNYOUNG JAM’S days have been very eventful recently so TODAY’S ADVENTURE is all about those busy times.
It has been a mixed bag of busy comings and goings – good things have happened but I have also been a part of the not so good things too.
The month started with us losing a loved family member at the age of 59. Her journey over the last nine months was a very poignant reminder that our lives do not go on forever. My reflections from being part of that experience has reinforced my belief that we all must go on adventures and live in the moment.
My first pleasure for the month was being able to share my Christmas wishes with some wonderful, long-time friends a few days ago. That afternoon of lunching certainly brought back cheer to my heart and made me feel ‘good about life’ again, after what has been a few stressful weeks in more ways than one.
I have five more ‘good gatherings’ to look forward to this coming week before I embark, just prior to Christmas Eve, on the ‘getting the new eyes’ project.
So onwards an upwards one busy, busy UNYOUNG JAM goes.
Until next time…I hope you all have a great weekend.
